Frequently Asked Questions about Pricing
Q: What is a User?
A: A User is any user who is authorized to create NEW documents in your DocVerse account. However, a user may add anyone as an editor to a document. For example, if John signs up for a Pro account, he can save 50 new documents to his account. If he adds Alice as an editor to one of his documents, Alice may add any number of new versions to the file on which she was added as an editor.
Q: What is a Document?
A: A document is a unique Word, PowerPoint or Excel file. Adding a new version of an existing document does not count against your document limit. For example, the Team edition includes support for 500 Documents. This means that up to 10 users may save 500 unique Word, PowerPoint or Excel files before needing to upgrade.
Q: What happens to old versions of documents?
A: DocVerse will save up to 60-days worth of versions for a document from the day it was last saved into DocVerse. For most users, this is ample. However, if you need unlimited version history for your documents, we plan to offer an upgrade option to the Pro, Team and Team Plus editions of DocVerse.
Q: Can I get my documents out of DocVerse?
A: Absolutely. If you need to ever get your documents out of DocVerse, contact help@docverse.com and we'll help you out immediately.
